Prioritising CAP Intervention Needs: An Improved Cumulative Voting Approach

The process to define the 2023–2027 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is underway. implementation model governing requires each EU Member State design a National Strategic Plan deliver operational actions exploiting synergies under two pillars of policy. Each must be built from an evidence-based needs assessment that undergoes rigorous prioritisation and planning create comprehensive, integrated, achievable interventions. In Italy, success this all interested stakeholders generate options for regional authorities who plan, manage, legislate agricultural activities. This research proposes decision-making technique, based on cumulative voting approach, can used effectively when multiple persons different backgrounds perspectives are engaged in problem-solving prioritisation. results indicate applied both theoretically practically prioritise involve national authorities.
